The American Brahms Society cordially invites all who love the music of Brahms and support the Society’s goals and projects to join its ranks. In addition to belonging to a vibrant community of people who share an interest in the music of Johannes Brahms, membership in the American Brahms Society brings with it access to the American Brahms Society Newsletter. Members are also eligible to apply for a number of funding opportunities including the Karl Geiringer Scholarship in Brahms Studies, and the American Brahms Society Publication Subvention. The Society regularly hosts events concerned with the music of Brahms, such as the forthcoming pre-conference on Brahms in conjunction with the combined annual national meetings of the American Musicological Society, Society for Music Theory, and Society for Ethnomusicology in 2022.
